CHARGES DISMISSED!

Cliff Bidlingmaier was successful in having charges pending against his client dismissed.  Cliff's client was originally charged with a third-degree offense in the State of New Jersey, which carries with it the possibility of a term of imprisonment for 3 to 5 years. The charge was originally downgraded and then he was able to establish that essential discovery had not been disclosed.  

Cliff originally sought to preclude the admission of the discovery due to the fact that it was not produced in a timely manner. The court granted his motion to preclude the missing discovery. At trial, Cliff was able to have the matter dismissed due to the fact that the discovery had been withheld, and ultimately a witness failed to appear at the time of trial.

Not only was the case dismissed, but ultimately the court granted an expungement of the original arrest record.
